You support them by going to their games and cheering them on, but do you know how your favorite athletes first got involved with their respective sports? Jordan Samuels-Thomas, a transfer from Bowling Green State University in Ohio transferred to Quinnipiac University after a less-than-thrilling two years at BGSU. By having three different coaches in the two years he attended the university, he decided that the school wasn’t right for him with the hopes of making it someday to the NHL- the driving force to making the change. He credits the Mighty Ducks movies for getting him interested in hockey and talks more about the behind-the-scenes factors that are involved in college hockey and playing in the AHL.
